Welcome to Uptown!
The sadness and destruction we have experienced in our beautiful city and the Uptown area has been devastating but the resilience of our community is overwhelming in response. The Uptown Association, the business association and producers of the Uptown Art Fair, are asking for your support to help our community rebuild.
For the first time in its 57 year history, the Uptown Art Fair will be cancelled and adapted for changing times. With the current and evolving impacts of COVID-19, and by guidance of local government, the difficult decision was made by The Uptown Association to cancel the traditional event planned for August 7, 8, & 9, 2020 as it is in the best interest to safeguard the health and safety of our artists, vendors, guests, neighbors, and volunteers. We look forward to returning with the 57th Annual Uptown Art Fair in 2021 on August 6, 7, & 8.
At the intersection of West Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue lies a vibrant and diverse urban community that is a destination like no other in the Twin Cities. Throughout the year, business activities and events such as the City of Lakes Loppet in the wintertime to the Uptown Food Truck Festival, Bastille Day and the Uptown Art Fair in the summer enhance the energy of the Uptown community
Speaking of festivals, The Uptown Art Fair, produced by the Uptown Association, is a juried fine arts festival with a reputation as one of the most exceptional art fairs in the United States. Through a rich history and constant innovation, the Uptown Art Fair showcases a variety of quality art for everyone’s budget.
