Judy Hippe
Judy joined the Uptown Association in 2017 after her first year serving as a volunteer for the Uptown Art Fair and Board member.
She is a graduate of Hamline University and earned a BA in Psychology, Communications and Education. After college, the Arizona desert called and she began her 15 year career as a department store buyer. She never forgot her MN roots and eventually returned to her beloved MN to continue buying for The Dayton Hudson Corporation.
She left her retail life and began a new career where she raised her son, ran a household and did extensive volunteering within the community of Waconia, MN. Chapters in life often change and once her son was grown, she was called to return to the workforce, first as and Events Coordinator and Assistant Manager at a local winery, then to Uptown Association where she is the Program Specialist and coordinates the Youth Art Fair, Performance stage and Food Vendors for the Uptown Art in addition to the Uptown Association Community Partner program.
In her spare time, Judy pursues her passion for cooking, reading, music and playing the piano, in addition to biking and walking around the lakes, and is an active member of her church and sings in the church choir.
