Committees

There are various ways to become active within the Uptown community. We are currently looking for new members in the following committees:


Made up of local artists, business folks, art enthusiasts and residents, the UAF Board meets regularly from May to August. At planning committee meetings, Uptown Association staff work with individual focus groups to discuss issues, accomplishments, assist in execution, and gain different perspectives alongside the Association staff. The opinions and diversity of the committee is important to the success of the Uptown Art Fair.

Operations
Culinary Arts Competition
Performance Stage
Youth Art Fair
Volunteers
Business Tent

REQUIREMENTS:
Monthly meetings from May – August
Availability during the Uptown Art Fair (August 3 – 5, 2018)


Works on various projects integrating the community and local businesses and non-profits, such as:
Uptown Clean-Up
Uptown Art Fair Charitable Partnership Program
Non-Profit Project Research and Development

REQUIREMENTS:
Monthly Meetings held the 1st Thursday of each month
Availability during the Uptown Art Fair (August 3 – 5, 2018)


Works on various Uptown Association and Uptown Art Fair projects throughout the year. Projects include:
Uptown Art Fair Information Booth
Community Art Fair Projects
Uptown Mingles
Other Community Partnership Events

REQUIREMENTS:
Monthly Meetings held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 4:00pm at the Uptown Association office.
Availability during the Uptown Art Fair (August 3 – 5, 2018)
